Biography

I have worked with flowers for 27 years. I trained originally at the vocational school and I have taken countless courses since. I now hold many courses and demonstrations myself.

I have participated in on average two competitions a year since 1996, both in Denmark and abroad. I have won the Tivoli Cup once and participated in several Circuit Championships. I most recently came second at the Oslo Open. I have won the right to name my own rose "Belle Katharina" Holland at the Wim Haseler Cup. I have also participated in the Danish Championship four times now – winning it once, coming second once, and third twice at Fjord and Belt.

As well as competing myself, I am a trained judge and have worked at many competitions abroad as well as judging the TV programme "The Greenest Fingers".

Career Highlights

Winning the Danish Championship and Fjord and Belt, then to be selected for the European Championship and the World Cup.

Hobbies and Interests

My biggest hobby is my work but if you don’t find me there, then I’ll likely be out running.

What inspires your competitor's style and floral designs and why?

Nature, definitely. I love how it changes week by week and the same place is never the same.
